“Easy” and “pizza” you’re loving, right? But this “Chewy” thing has got you stumped!!!
Understandably so, but let me suggest that as long as you’re changing your lifestyle, why not change a few other things like-you idea of pizza.
Think chew from now on
Think easy, easy.
And think all the traditional flavors and Italian seasonings with any veggie and spice you love, love, love added.
Think pie. Now add chewy, and you have your Chewy Easy Pizza.
Make sure your check your dough. Packaged doughs range from very, very low fat to unbelievable high fat. FAT FORUMULA ALERT….. Do it.
Non stick cooking spray
1 package refrigerated French bread dough
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/3 cup tomato sauce
1/2 green bell pepper, cut into strips
1/4 lb mushrooms, sliced
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. nonfat Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded nonfat mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup basil
1/4 cup Italian parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
Spray a pizza pan or cooking sheet with non-stick spray. Remove dough from package and unroll onto pan, pulling the dough evenly over the surface. Trim off excess dough.
Sprinkle dough with half of the Italian seasoning and the tomato sauce. Scatter pepper, mushrooms over he dough. Lay the tomatoes very neatly. Sprinkle seasoning, basil, parsley, salt and pepper.
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
